Theory

User: I want to export a report to Excel.
Me: Oh ok, well, on Print Preview, simply choose File > Save As > Comma Delimited File.
User: That's not Excel.
Me: Actually, a comma delimited file is usually registered as an Excel file type, so Excel can open it.
User: So, in theory, I'll be able to open this file in Excel?
Me: Yes sir, provided that .csv is registered as an Excel fiel type, you can double click the file and it will open in Excel. If its not registered to Excel, simply start Excel first, then choose Open, then select ALL FILES and click the .csv file you created.
User: So, in theory...
Me: (I'm not quite sure you know the definition of the word "theory")

Login? We don't need no stinking login!!!

user: I'm getting error 75...path/file access error
me: Do you have network admin access?
user: Yes.
me: In that case, exit all programs, log off of Windows and then log back in with network admin rights.
user: Well, I just logged into Shelby as supervisor and that didnt make a difference.
me: Yes, but we need to log into Windows with network admin rights.
user: I just did
me: You clicked on Start > Log Off, waited for any programs to end, logged back in as Admin, got to the desktop, logged back into Shelby and tried the same operation in those 5 seconds?
user: Yes. Shelby supervisor could not do it either.
me: ...not the Shelby admin...the WINDOWS NETWORK ADMIN...
user: Yes. I have Shelby supervisor access.
me: (will they be able to hear me slit my wrist over the phone...?)
